STEM is an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math education.

“What STEM does is give a label to what you are already doing… helping children to explore, observe, ask questions, predict, integrate their learning…  Its what we’ve always done in early childhood education.”

__ Dr. Sherri Killins

“Science is more than a school subject, or the periodic table, or the properties of waves. It is an approach to the world, a critical way to understand and explore and engage with the world, and then have the capacity to change that world…”

— President Barack Obama, March 23, 2015

At Kinder AcademySTEM curriculum is designed to supports children’s overall academic growth, develops early critical thinking and reasoning skills, and enhances later interest in STEM study and careers.

This could be a great outdoor STEM activity for children.Take a reusable bag and encourage your child to collect interesting objects she sees like small round stones, leaves, seed pods, or flowers. Children collect natural materials in different shape, size and color, so they gain math and science skills.

2. DO A COOKING ACTIVITY TOGETHER
